Description: Abraham Kriel Bambanani NPC invites suitably qualified and experienced candidates to apply for Child and Youth Care Worker vacancies at its satellite homes. These are live-in positions, and the main duties include the care and protection of 10 girls or boys between the ages of 6 and 18 years.

Key Responsibilities
- This is a live-in position.
- Main duties include the care and protection of 10 girls or boys between the ages of 6 and 18 years.
Minimum Requirements
- Applicants must be older than 26 and younger than 60 years.
- Applicants must be proficient in both Afrikaans and English.
- Minimum of NQF Level 4/5 training certificate as a Child and Youth Care Worker, preferably registered with SACSSP.
- Senior Certificate, Grade 12, with Mathematics or Mathematical Literacy as a subject if the applicant does not have the Child and Youth Care Worker qualification.
- Applicants without the Child and Youth Care Worker qualification must be willing to receive training as an Auxiliary Child and Youth Care Worker while working.
- Three traceable and reliable references.
- Experience in working with children.
- Valid driver’s licence with at least 2 years’ driving experience.
- Must be able to qualify for a Professional Driving Permit, PDP, licence.

Description: Abraham Kriel Bambanani NPC invites suitably qualified and experienced candidates to apply for the Assistant Teacher position at the Johana Malan Early Childhood Development Centre. The successful candidate will support the ECD Teacher in creating a safe, nurturing and stimulating learning environment for young children.
Vacancy Details
Assistant Teacher – Early Childhood Development
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with the planning and implementation of daily educational and developmental activities.
- Support children’s learning through age-appropriate play-based activities.
- Assist with classroom preparation, learning resources and educational materials.
- Supervise children during indoor and outdoor activities, meals and rest periods.
- Promote the health, safety and wellbeing of all children in the classroom.
- Observe children’s development and provide feedback to the ECD Teacher.
- Foster positive relationships with children, parents and caregivers.
- Assist with maintaining a clean, safe and organised classroom environment.
- Support the implementation of AKB policies, procedures and safeguarding standards.
- Participate in meetings, training and other organisational activities as required.
Minimum Requirements
- Grade 12, Matric.
- An ECD qualification at NQF Level 4 or higher will be an added advantage.
- Previous experience working in an Early Childhood Development Centre will be advantageous.
- Good verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Basic computer literacy will be advantageous.
- A clear criminal record suitable for working with children.
