AKB is a registered Public Benefit Organisation. This allows donors to claim a tax deduction for qualifying donations, generally up to 10% of taxable income, in line with Section 18A of the South African Income Tax Act.

Abraham Kriel Bambanani holds a valid Beneficiary Verification Certificate confirming that more than 75% of its beneficiaries are Black South Africans. Qualifying Socio-Economic Development contributions made directly to AKB are fully recognisable for scoring purposes, subject to the relevant sector codes and verification requirements.

AKB also offers Skills Development opportunities through which measured entities can earn valuable B-BBEE points while making a meaningful contribution to addressing youth unemployment

Important Reminder:
Companies cannot claim Section 18A tax deductions if the donation is used to earn B-BBEE points under the SED element or Skills Development opportunity, as per SARS regulations.
